The most popular synthetic detergents are washing powders and liquid detergents. Among the washing powders, the high-performance powder model is gaining the greatest popularity in the world, used for all types of fabrics and dirt, at all temperatures.

Great demand, especially in Poland, it is used for high-performance powders containing chemical bleaches, which are most effective at temperatures 60 — 90°C. These powders generally contain enzymes and a bleach activator, making them effective also at lower temperatures. They are intended for washing linen fabrics, cotton and mixtures with cotton (these are the dominant fabrics on the market). These powders include: OMO New Liposystem, AS, Pollena 2000, Dosage, Lanza, Orion, Ariel, Breeze and others.

Another class of powders popular on the Polish market are powders for washing colored fabrics. They are used to wash cotton fabrics and fabrics made of synthetic fibers at temperatures 30 — 60°C, they do not contain chemical bleaches. Examples of such powders are: Vizier Color, Col, Pollena Rex Kolor.

A small group are powders for washing wool and delicate fabrics. These include Perwoll powder and Pearl.
