Eco-garbage is an eco-problem

Eco-garbage is an eco-problem.

Electro-waste is a common name for all old devices, previously operated by plugging in the power plug or exhausted batteries or accumulators. Such items should be collected selectively and delivered to special places, in which it will be possible to dispose of them or will be recycled. This is an extremely important issue, so as not to throw them into the usual, mixed waste, because electro-waste contains a whole lot of harmful substances, which are simply thrown into the rubbish bin, releasing toxic substances, tj. mercury, cadmium or PCBs, which in turn will effectively pollute the environment.

Why do we have such a big problem, to return electro-waste to places specially designated for this purpose? Well, special containers for burnt light bulbs or a broken radio do not simply stand next to glass containers, plastic or paper. We have to go to an electromechanical shop, or a seller of electronics / household appliances. In most of these stores, we will be able to return old electronic equipment and we will be sure that it will be smoothly delivered to the place of disposal..

Let's try to get rid of unnecessary equipment in a way that is safe for our environment. We need to know, that, for example, elements, which are in our equipment, and which have a cooling and insulating function for polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), while they end up in water or soil (because they will be previously thrown into an ordinary garbage can) as a consequence, they can accumulate in the organisms of humans and animals, causing permanent damage to the nervous systems, immune system, liver, kidney, spleen, and even distort the genetic code!
